Advertisement Posted March 16, 2010 Posted March 16, 2010 Hi monitorpop, Take a look here black line in files. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Overgaard Posted March 16, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 16, 2010 If it's on several images, restart the camera (battery out) and another SD-card.
monitorpop Posted March 16, 2010 Author Share #3 Posted March 16, 2010 Thanks for the reply. Just did what you recommended with no luck. I find it on most images. Its the same size line but in slightly different places on each image when doing a 1to1 full crop in Lightroom.
jaapv Posted March 16, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 16, 2010 I think this is a sensor readout fault out of the box. Return the camera for a replacement.
dan113 Posted March 16, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 16, 2010 By the end of January, I received my M9, showing a hot pixel in every picture. My camera was sent back to Leica for pixel remapping. I received it after 10 days waiting and everything is OK now. Before sending, I made a research and found the following site, but the M9 was not supported at this moment. Happily it is supported now. It is supposed to work with hot, dead or stuck pixel in any raw file, but I didn't used it myself. Maybe it will be useful for you. It is free, but there is no Mac version...
