Advertisement Posted July 8, 2006 Posted July 8, 2006 Hi Alberto, Take a look here Mr Edgar. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest imported_stefan_r Posted July 8, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 8, 2006 the tonal range looks flat to me, also the is a very dominating background = too much dof, if you place him so close to the back, open your lens to get less dof. regards
stuny Posted July 8, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 8, 2006 Alberto - Sometimes Stefan & I disagree. I like this warm, direct environmental portrait, and find the busy background an asset to telling Mr. Edgar's story. However, I encourage you to consider going back into PS and punch up the contrast and tonal range just a bit. De donde esta Sr. Edgar? Stuart
jmr Posted July 8, 2006 Share #4 Posted July 8, 2006 Alberto, very nice portrait. I agree with Stefan that having a more out of focus background would help centre interest on Mr. Edgar. I also agree with Stuart, you could punch the contrast a little. It's still a good shot.
jackart Posted July 8, 2006 Share #5 Posted July 8, 2006 excellent venue, but I like more sharpness. Perhaps long exposure caused shake.
