the tonal range looks flat to me, also the is a very dominating background = too much dof, if you place him so close to the back, open your lens to get less dof. regards

Sometimes Stefan & I disagree. I like this warm, direct environmental portrait, and find the busy background an asset to telling Mr. Edgar's story. However, I encourage you to consider going back into PS and punch up the contrast and tonal range just a bit. De donde esta Sr. Edgar?

very nice portrait. I agree with Stefan that having a more out of focus background would help centre interest on Mr. Edgar. I also agree with Stuart, you could punch the contrast a little. It's still a good shot.
