likalar Posted March 12, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 12, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Another ship's bow photo. This is reportedly a high-tech secret research vessel with a low-tech appearance, tied up in San Francisco. I wish I knew more about it. Leica D-Lux 2. Okay, I'll lay off the boat pics for a while. ;-) Larry

RPS Posted March 12, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 12, 2010 Larry, Quite an intriguing image. There's some really interesting stuff hanging off the side of the ship somewhat back of the bow. Any idea what that might be -- any pictures from the side you could share? Oh ... and, don't stop with this series please ... it's been a nice addition to the thread. likalar Posted March 12, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted March 12, 2010 Thanks, Stuart, Paul and Robert. Here's the only other view I have, Robert, shot on a different day, when a list was being forced upon the vessel for some unknown reason. Maybe the guys in the small boat, port side, were researching a rust hole in the hull. ;-) Hope this helps. Larry
