iQwerty Posted March 8, 2010 Share #1 Â Posted March 8, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi, Â I have a few questions about the ever ready case for the X1 (first pic here: Leica Camera AG - Photography - LEICA X1 Cases) Â Is it possible to use it without the grip, and will it still look good? Â Is the viewfinder case attached to the necktie (err, that's the wrong word isn't it...)? Â Thanks!
Advertisement Posted March 8, 2010 Posted March 8, 2010 Hi iQwerty, Take a look here X1 System Case. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stephen.w Posted March 8, 2010 Share #2  Posted March 8, 2010 There is an existing thread dealing with the ever-ready case (which is what you meant, no?) http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-x1-forum/118315-leica-ever-ready-case.html  Unfortunately it only works where the handgrip is attached. I thought about getting that bag, but couldn't justify paying the price they were asking for the handgrip. I bought an old discontinued Leica bag (part number 14522) designed to carry an M and a collapsible 50mm lens. It is (just) big enough to fit the X1 with viewfinder attached. damnsharp Posted March 9, 2010 Share #3 Â Posted March 9, 2010 Stephen, is it possible that you show any pictures of the X1 in that case? Â Oh, searched the internet for the case but couldn't find it. I guess to old.
