Tesco bag, cost 2 pence.

Haha you beat me to it! Sainsbury bags are better quality though.

Where did post 2 beam in from??

I use a couple of Crumpler bags coz I get them cheap....but not for X1s as I haven't got one.

I'll wind up with a couple cases but the most used will be a simple fanny or waist pack. I just picked up a leather one for about twenty bucks. I've found being close to the body reduces the need for much padding. Lord knows I can supply all the padding the X1 will ever need. :D

Crumpler make nice bags, but none that fit the X1. There is no size in between the compact camera bags and the camcorder/DSLR bags. The X1's length and protruding lens make it an awkward camera to find a generic bag for. I'd be interested to hear if someone on the forum manages to find one.

How about this for an inexpensive case ...DSCF3177.jpg

This my X1 inside a LowePro D-Res 30AW pouch I bought over 10 years ago ... there is plenty of room for the viewfinder and two small film pockets visible in the front will hold additional X1 batteries or memory cards. I'm not sure if this particular LowePro is still current but I've found one UK dealer with stocks and a list price of just £12 (discounted so might be old stock)

The camera fits snugly as regards width and the case is a bit too high for it but it offers good protection and can be hooked to a belt or carried on your shoulder.

Google LowePro D-Res 30AW and you should find one
