earleygallery Posted March 5, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 5, 2010 I'm not entirely sure what the question is but teleconverters of the type you mention, i.e. ones that fit on front of the existing lens, are generally of less than satisfactory quality. I guess it's better than nothing, if you must, but if it's for more than very occassional use then you need another camera.
farnz Posted March 5, 2010 Share #6 Posted March 5, 2010 Like asking if a horse, or a banana are better than light-bulb. Definitely the banana, Pete. If you've ever tried making a banana-split using a horse or a light-bulb, you'll know for sure. Not a pretty sight. Pete.

Digilux2 Digilux3 D-lux4 Are these better than v-lux1?.. Thanks Dopaco, Like James, I'm having difficulty understanding what you're asking us and what photographs you want to make. So, a V-Lux 1 + tele-convertor will allow you to take photos of far away things but the quality of the photos will not be as good as photos from a Digilux 2, a Digilux 3, or a D-Lux 4. If you're asking which is the best camera out of the 4 then I choose the Digilux 2. Pete.
