minhhich Posted March 3, 2010 Share #1 Posted March 3, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have this image shot with my new M8.2 using CZ 25 biogon + UV (without IR) filter. Try to fix using C1 + Phase One P30 Flash easy black profile. Do you think the bike is black enough?
Advertisement Posted March 3, 2010 Posted March 3, 2010 Hi minhhich, Take a look here Do you think this IR fix effective. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
giordano Posted March 3, 2010 Share #2 Posted March 3, 2010 To me it looks a dark grey with a touch of magenta in places. Maybe it's been left out in the Indochinese sunshine long enough for the paint to fade? In other words it's dark enough to look as if it was probably a black bike that didn't "come out" quite right in the photo, but it doesn't look the same as if you'd used a UV/IR filter. luigi bertolotti Posted March 3, 2010 Share #3 Posted March 3, 2010 To me, the only definitive way to verify if a Software correction for the UVIR problem is effective, is to shot at a number of clothes in bright sun, one next to the other and with a good variety of colors expecially in dark ones (black / blue / brown) : I doubt one can find a Software solution... would it existed, it should have been greatly advertised and well known to M8 community already in 2007... jaapv Posted March 3, 2010 Share #4 Posted March 3, 2010 You could put a blackpoint somewhere on the bike - I think the background can handle the resulting green shift.
