elansprint72 Posted February 28, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 28, 2010 Really like this, can I suggest two small changes? Lose the light patch near the bottom just right of centre and black out that slice of blue down the right side. Cover them on the screen with your fingers- what do you think? Well seen. Guest suilvenman Posted March 1, 2010 Share #5 Posted March 1, 2010 Rob, Stuart, Pete - your comments and suggestions are really appreciated. Rob - those defocused colour highlights come through clearly on projected slide so I was trying to achieve a similar effect for the monitor screen. This photo is from Fuji Sensia 100 which I scanned myself (based on many scanning tips I've picked up from forum members - including yourself, by the way, and for which many thanks). Pete - I really did think about cropping out the r/h boot edge but wasn't sure about leaving an element of context but now that I see the crop it clearly makes for a cleaner image - and the same for that reflected bumper highlight. Many thanks for yout time, Pete. Here's another version. Cheers, Ken.
earleygallery Posted March 1, 2010 Share #6 Posted March 1, 2010 I'd have preferred a shot of the whole car, it's a superb design.

I'll keep that in mind for next time, James. There's a classic car meeting coming up later this month and I'm fairly certain this one will be on show. Cheers, Ken.
