stuny Posted February 28, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 28, 2010 Ed - There's enough data here to identify the car if I knew 1940s North American autos better -- My first guess is a Plymouth. A lovely, dark, almost foreboding shot with very nice crop.
pauledell Posted February 28, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 28, 2010 Lovely liquid like tones, sharpness and composition. Paul

malcolm Posted February 28, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 28, 2010 I'm pretty sure that the grille inserts are from a Plymouth (1954?), but think the car may be older than that, and not necessarily a Plymouth. Hard to tell with the extensive customizing ("frenched" headlights; headrests on the seats, etc.).
Guest suilvenman Posted March 1, 2010 Share #6 Posted March 1, 2010 Very nice, punchy impact, especially on those chrome highlights, Edwin. That toothy grill suggests the car is perhaps a DeSoto Firedome? Cheers, Ken.
