daveleo Posted February 27, 2010 Share #11 Posted February 27, 2010 nice set of photos. look at that wooden cockpit frame ! ! my high school aero shop teacher said he loved the old wood frames because they would creak and moan before they failed . . . gave you time to do something about your manuever . . . he hated aluminum frames . . no warning before a failure ! and the enemy aircraft identifier. . . imagine the pilot using this in combat . . . ?
