jrethorst Posted February 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I've used a polarizing filter on my D2 to good effect when around water (I don't usually shoot through glass windows but have seen the difference there as well). Tutorials had shown me the difference in plant life, but I was surprised at how much difference here. Program exposure, ISO 100, no PP, same time, only difference is 90 degree rotation of the pol filter, to not polarize (on the left), and to polarize (on the right). Pix on the right seems sharper too, although both were AF.

stuny Posted February 22, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 22, 2010 Very dramatic. Thank you. And thank you for mentioning my quote below in another thread you started. A lot of members are D2 fans, but not many seem to know of the D2 Social Group on this Forum. Please join us. At the top of this page click on Community, select Social Groups, select D2 and join in.
