DTD Posted February 15, 2010 Share #1 Posted February 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) The pictures have been printed, they have been mounted and the cakes have been baked… If any forum members would like to come to the private viewing of my exhibition about CCTV, it's on Friday 26 Feb from 5:30 to 6:30pm at the Mezzanine Gallery, Royal Exchange Theatre, St Ann's Square, Manchester. The exhibition runs from 24 Feb to 27 March alongside a new production of Orwell's 1984. There's a website to go with my photos at: index Only problem is what's left to photograph? andybarton Posted February 15, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 15, 2010 That's a good exhibition space there, Dave. We are trying to get to see 1984, if circumstances allow, but I will definitely pop in next time I'm in town.
stunsworth Posted February 15, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 15, 2010 Dave, I'll try and make it. Can't guarantee though. Won't the cakes be stale by then?
cocker Posted February 15, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 15, 2010 Dave, Yes- I should be there on 26th for the view. Looking forward to it.
DTD Posted February 15, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 15, 2010 Dave, I'll try and make it. Can't guarantee though. Won't the cakes be stale by then? I'm sure the flap jacks will resist the ravages of time.

biglouis Posted February 16, 2010 Share #10 Posted February 16, 2010 David Wish I could make it: a richly deserved exhibition - your CCTV work is wonderful (and inspiring, if you can track down my latest effort "Globetown"). LouisB
al-fresco Posted February 16, 2010 Share #11 Posted February 16, 2010 Blimey – I probably hated him, before you'd even heard of him ;-) I hated his grandfather Herbert Morrison (and I was not alone in this!)
Rolo Posted February 16, 2010 Share #12 Posted February 16, 2010 Blimey – I probably hated him, before you'd even heard of him ;-) I disliked him from the moment I became aware of his slimey activity. He's the most powerful politician in the UK and he's not even been elected. Hopefully there will be no role for him in the next government, unless it's to halt immigration other than EU nationals. He'd be good at that.
cocker Posted February 16, 2010 Share #13 Posted February 16, 2010 Hopefully there will be no role for him in the next government) I wouldn't bet on that. The man is so devoid of principles he'd cosy up with the Tories quite happily. In fact, like most Blairites he is a Tory.
jmr Posted February 16, 2010 Share #14 Posted February 16, 2010 Congratulations Dave, it's a good setting for photo exhibitions. I'm seeing 1984, so I'll definitely pop up for a gander.

stunsworth Posted February 16, 2010 Share #17 Posted February 16, 2010 As things have turned out I won't be able to make it. Having finally found some gainful employment I'll be on a motorway somewhere between the south coast and home. I was looking forward to some excellent cake too.
