Crimguy Posted February 24, 2010 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2010 Yeah you think? I have a f1/50 with an ep1 and it's a little odd attaching a $5k lens to a $500 body. It does pretty well overall, though when it comes to results. However, it is very heavy and feels severely out of balance on the olympus. It's also much easier to get a sharp focus wide open with a rangefinder - the depth of field is really narrow at close distances. I also don't like the 100mm effective focal length for most applications. When it comes to leica glass on m43, I much prefer the 35/1.4 99% of the time. Looking very good, seems to be a little expensive? K.
ashwinrao1 Posted February 25, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 25, 2010 hmmm....haven't tried it yet, but I'll be slappin' my Noct f/1 on the GF-1. 100 mm is a good portrait focal length, so it may be adaptable to that purpose. I have tried the 75 lux on the GF-1, and found that to be a nice, longer combo, with more creamy oof than the noctilux...
