Yes, indeed! it is a NOOKY optical near-focusing device for screw-mount Leica (like the IIIf). It screws in the body in place of the lens, and then the 3,5/5cm Elmar lens is fixed through the bayonet of its tube (when retracted). The optical #window" of the NOOKY aligns with the camera's viewer and provides necessary parallax correction for the near-focusing. luigi bertolotti Posted February 7, 2010 Share #5 Posted February 7, 2010 Easy choice, for the NOOKY... only the IIIc, within the Leica you quote, can use it, provided you have also an Elmar 5 cm f 3,5 in screw mount. Pepper Posted February 13, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted February 13, 2010 Luckily I have the correct lens required, its on the 1c at the moment but I tried it out earlier and yup it all fitted together correctly. The little adaptor does a great job of bringing things into focus at the much closer range, so tomorrow I shall mostly be trying it out. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
