Babar760 Posted February 5, 2010 Share #2 Posted February 5, 2010 Not only a beautiful coke bottle shape but a beautiful tonality that film will find hard to emulate.
pauledell Posted February 6, 2010 Share #3 Posted February 6, 2010 Gorgeous shot with lovely tones, composition, clarity and a great car. Paul

Leicabatoutahell Posted February 6, 2010 Author Share #5 Posted February 6, 2010 I agree. Great tone and detail. Alberto Shhhhh...don't tell anyone but it all comes from Silver Efex Pro. Great B&W conversion software that I am trying on their free demo.
LuxBob Posted February 6, 2010 Share #6 Posted February 6, 2010 For me, one of the best cars ever but subtle it isn`t. For me the lights should be blazing, I would take it at dusk and saturate those colors. Despite what we see as European sophistication, this car has and continues to teach us a lot of lessons about how to make fast cars. Many years ago a colleague asked me to look after his for a few days when I was in Texas. At that time in UK, we thought the E-type was pretty good. Pretty yes, good no after I had driven the Corvette. I would have a go with ColorEfex.
AlbertoDeRoma Posted February 6, 2010 Share #7 Posted February 6, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Shhhhh...don't tell anyone but it all comes from Silver Efex Pro. Great B&W conversion software that I am trying on their free demo. I have also tried Silver Efex Pro - and I'm buying it this week-end. I brings me back to me teenager days experimenting with darkroom chemicals - without the noxious fumes. Alberto
pinetar Posted February 6, 2010 Share #8 Posted February 6, 2010 A name like a DeRoma would make me think a Ferrari would be a marquee of choice for you. I lost interest in Corvettes after the mid sixties. I want to hear the Italian engines scream.
LuxBob Posted February 6, 2010 Share #9 Posted February 6, 2010 Nik Software. I have several of their packages bought one at a time. Bad tactic. They bundle all their software for around $299. This is a much better way to purchase. Also if you listen in to one of their training seminars they sometimes offer an additional discount at the end. If you live in Europe you will find the price is much higher in Euros - better to buy it on a trip.
stuny Posted February 8, 2010 Share #10 Posted February 8, 2010 3rd generation 'Vette, sold just after the Stingray, and possibly the nicest example I can recall. Lovely angle, toning and tonal quality.
vdb Posted February 9, 2010 Share #11 Posted February 9, 2010 Nice frame. Though I would go much lighter on the toning.
elansprint72 Posted February 11, 2010 Share #12 Posted February 11, 2010 Not only a beautiful coke bottle shape but a beautiful tonality that film will find hard to emulate. On both counts; rubbish.
