batvu Posted January 22, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 22, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello forum, I'm an amateur and have just started learning about photography. I’ve been on this forum for over a year now and this is my first post. I purchased a D-Lux 4 Ti last January 2009 and have been reading info about DL-4 perf/features/helps/access/... on this site. The info this site provided has help me a great deal learning/exploring about the DL-4 and so far I love it. But while reading info about the DL-4, I can't help but notice posts about the Digilux 2. The photos that produce from the D2 seem to have some magic/mystery.. whether it was taken by professionals or amateurs. An opportunity came yesterday for an excellent condition D2 completed set (only without box) + extra battery + brand new Leica SF 24D. I purchased it yesterday and the camera arrived today in mint condition. I could not be happier seeing the D2 in it condition. This writing is to introduce myself. I hope that I can get help from this forum about the two cameras and in the near future be able to produce/post beautiful photos. Best Regards Ba V. Adrian Lord Posted January 23, 2010 Share #12 Posted January 23, 2010 Welcome - great choice of camera to start a Leica career - just as I did. Warning - you'll not stop there though, watch out for MP's and all the rest. But don't ever get rid of the D2, I nearly did but so glad I didn't, a true classic.
