rpo Posted January 10, 2010 Share #1 Posted January 10, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello everyone. I did my comparative test between the Light King Noctilux 1:1 and the new Kobayashi lens Nocton 1:1,1 If you are interested this is the link to my tests. L E I C A P A S S I O N F O R U M :: Leggi argomento - Nocton 1:1,1 > Noctilux 1:1 - My little test I apologize for any mistakes in my English translation but I hope that everything is still understandable and I hope that my little work may be useful (few pictures speak more clearly than many words). lct Posted January 13, 2010 Share #3 Posted January 13, 2010 Any focus shift with the Nokton?
rpo Posted January 13, 2010 Author Share #4 Posted January 13, 2010 No, just a very little shift-focus at f/1,1/1,4 about 6/7 meters. Regards Roberto
lct Posted January 13, 2010 Share #5 Posted January 13, 2010 No, just a very little shift-focus at f/1,1/1,4 about 6/7 meters... Interesting indeed, i thought that focus shift does not occur at full aperture but i may be wrong. Did you use the lens at f/2.8 and slower apertures and does it focus accurately there? rpo Posted January 14, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted January 14, 2010 HI, honestly I have not detected any strong shift-focus at slower apertures (also at f/8) and the focus accuracy is ever maintained but my test is not a "hard scientific test", it is simply a modest home made test drive...and I have reported my hot personal impressions :-) Regards Roberto
