tjphoto Posted December 8, 2006 Share #61 Â Posted December 8, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Don't get me wrong. I think the M8 is sexy. I covet my M7, and would love to have a digital M7. But, this thing is doesn't look that great with the skin tones. Way too red. I shoot commercially with the leaf aptus 22mp back. It has kick A skin tones. Â Â Enjoy your toys, boys. Â Tim Tim Jones Photography

Guest stnami Posted December 8, 2006 Share #66 Â Posted December 8, 2006 Don't judge anything like a purchase decision from these field shots! yea base your judgement on images after hours of post processing are spent on them.......... The camera seems to cope exceptionally well with the tints but struggles with the shades

Jack_Flesher Posted December 8, 2006 Share #71 Â Posted December 8, 2006 Here's one Guy asked me to process and post for him as he's having some web host and color issues. This is a shot of Robert taken with the Noct on the M8, I processed it in ACR: Â
osera Posted December 8, 2006 Share #72 Â Posted December 8, 2006 Rob- Be careful, don't drop that lens! Don't let Guy back into it. Â As an aside, can y'all prove to yourself that you can handhold the M8 at longer shutter speeds than the DMR? (prior to drinking anything)
kidigital Posted December 8, 2006 Share #73 Â Posted December 8, 2006 There is no freaking way that Guy is going to be able to resist acquiring a nocti after playing with one for a weekend. Â Kurt
MrEd Posted December 8, 2006 Share #74 Â Posted December 8, 2006 Why are the skin tones so reddish looking? Did they have a few drinks before you took their picture? I'm missing something here. Â Regards, Â Ed.
pemayeux Posted December 8, 2006 Share #75 Â Posted December 8, 2006 I'm curious if the M8 had the IR filter on during the shot of the waterfall. The green foliage looks 'different' than the same foliage in the 5D shot, and judging from the shadows these were taken at the same time.
Guest guy_mancuso Posted December 9, 2006 Share #76  Posted December 9, 2006 Why are the skin tones so reddish looking? Did they have a few drinks before you took their picture? I'm missing something here. Regards,  Ed.   It's 28 degrees. We were up at 5 am and it was like 25 degrees . This shot was like 10 am. Robert is a red face Canuck anyway. Guest guy_mancuso Posted December 9, 2006 Share #80  Posted December 9, 2006 My shot was the 50 lux asph   This one was very very early before the sun popped. I used a SF 20 to light the stump .
