haotong Posted December 7, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 7, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) hi, just want to work out how many folks here are waiting to get the next batch of M8 in the UK? just don't want to be waiting alone by d way, my flight is on the 15th December (next friday!), what's the possiblity of getting the M8 before my trip? matt736 Posted December 7, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 7, 2006 It really depends on where you are on the dealers list,I'm now third on the list but if they receive two silver and one black like the first shipment I will still be waiting till next year! On taking to Leica Camera Sales at Milton Keynes only a couple of days ago I asked the same question and the answer was this month but they would not give a date or numbers of how many were being shipped to the UK.But they did say it all depends if you are on a Leica Premier Dealers list,which I am, and where you are on it Cheers Matthew. I'm still waiting, 'though hoping for good news as maybe Leica decide to ship lots more than expected!. I'm sure there are lots of us, but shall I pay in full before Dec. 31st and get a possible 30% discount off a new lens? I am indeed the first person on the list, my order was taken in March 2006 with R G Lwis in London.....they got three M8s in the first batch and I was excluded b'cos I was the 4th person, later on I realised I was in a bit of luck since all the first M8 production were recalled, but now I am frustrating again with the delivery issue!!
