stevem7 Posted January 15, 2010 Share #41 Posted January 15, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have had a new 27" Imac quad core with 4GB ram, 1TB HD for about a month and it breezes through my M9 files with ease. RAW, JPEG, TIFF. No worries. Compared to my 15" macbook pro, it is MUCH MUCH faster. I have not read all of the replies here but I vote for the Imac 27"! vanhulsenbeek Posted January 15, 2010 Share #43 Posted January 15, 2010 Within the utmost respect for Mac-users; is this thread not a little off topic - except for its title - or should it not be moved to the Post-Processing - also see the title - Forum? previlo Posted January 16, 2010 Share #44 Posted January 16, 2010 IMHO you are right, even the topic is somehow about M9, I think it would be correct to move it to the Digital Post Processing area.

Was it hard to calibrate the screen and get used to it for processing purposes? I see so much conflicting info regarding the iMac and its usefulness for image processing / printing.
