Advertisement Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Hi johnkuo, Take a look here Bugatti Veyron. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
abrewer Posted December 7, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 7, 2006 Great car, great shots John. Is the 28 a new addition to your stable? Thanks. Allan
johnkuo Posted December 7, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted December 7, 2006 Thanks Allan. I've had the 28 for a while, just haven't used it as much as the 35/50. It works great for the autoshow so I can get close and still manage to include the whole car. Also its resistance to flare is quite remarkable. abrewer Posted December 7, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 7, 2006 Yeah, it is doing a great job with these car shots. I would really like one. Maybe Santa will hear! Thanks. Allan

elansprint72 Posted December 7, 2006 Share #6 Posted December 7, 2006 Good shots John, I like the B&W treatment. Thanks for including the Lotus badges in #2:D Cheers, Pete.
andybarton Posted December 7, 2006 Share #7 Posted December 7, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great car, great shots. To me, the most impressive (or maybe awful...) stat about the car is that when at full pelt, it will use a tank full of fuel in 12 minutes. A whole tankful. Incredible. jmr Posted December 7, 2006 Share #8 Posted December 7, 2006 John, these powerful shots work very well in contrasty b&w - thanks.
stuny Posted December 7, 2006 Share #9 Posted December 7, 2006 John - These are the best shots I've seen of the new Bug, probably enhanced by being in black and white with full tonal range, but also your angles, which are generally higher than angles the car magazines chose. Guest lykoudos Posted December 7, 2006 Share #10 Posted December 7, 2006 Hello John, Again a fantastische admission of an identical object of secret longings. Once with it over turn the block and die then calmly: The highest in my modest terrestrial existence. Kind regards Wolfgang (Leica MP)

Andy, A meaningless statistic; afaik there is only one place on earth where this thing could maintain v-max, the Nardo test track in Italy. To me, the creation of cars of this ilk is a total waste, and I'm a car fan. Cheers, Pete.
martinop Posted December 7, 2006 Share #12 Posted December 7, 2006 Excellent series. Like the car profiles and the BW format.

ijporter Posted December 10, 2006 Share #15 Posted December 10, 2006 Great shots. I've never seen a Veyron 'in the carbon-fibre', but I have to say that the grill really jars with me on the Veyron. It reminds me of a pig's snout! Although other cars (e.g. Jaguar) have vertical radiator grills, they somehow look the part; but on the Veyron it just doesn't look right. On the EB110 and even on the Chiron it wasn't a problem, but I guess with the Veyron there was so much more heat to cool that it needed a bigger radiator and therefore a bigger grill. I thought it was really funny to see Tom Cruise roll up to some function in a Veyron and then be unable to open the passenger's door! Ian
blovitch Posted December 11, 2006 Share #16 Posted December 11, 2006 I think it has something like 10 seperate radiators....
macos Posted December 11, 2006 Share #17 Posted December 11, 2006 The Pics are great, no doubt. Much to learn from them, thx for sharing However, I think the car itself is not esthetical. The standard Audi headlamps look like imported from an old A4 and give the whole machine a pretty unmotivated look.
