Pophoto Posted December 31, 2009 Share #21 Posted December 31, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was debating between the 28cron to be slightly wider or 35mm since it is angle of view that I like. For myself, the the ideal would be wider like 21/24 lux (another future debate to happen) and then a 35. In the end I went with the 35lux and got a good specimen, a happy story So like others have said, if 28 is your angle, I can see that happening. So my answer is no. Advertisement Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Hi Pophoto, Take a look here Who would buy a 28mm Summilux ? [for M9]. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
yanidel Posted December 31, 2009 Share #22 Posted December 31, 2009 No, I don't like the 28mm Fov. Would consider a 24mm 1.4 before a 28mm Lux.

cheewai_m6 Posted January 3, 2010 Share #25 Posted January 3, 2010 i'd be happy with the 28 summicron. in fact, i'm getting on some time before may. but, if there was a 28 lux, i'd only consider it if it was as small and compact as the cron. not a fan of big lenses on the m body. no doubt it would be a very expensive lens as well. i'm tempted towards the 28 elmarit over the summicron purely cause it's significantly smaller. glenerrolrd Posted January 3, 2010 Share #27 Posted January 3, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) I will certainly buy one if its offered as the 28FOV is my most used and unless an M10 comes along with another +1EV ..I can use the speed. I really like the 28 summicron as an all around lens......small and discrete ,fast and with a beautiful character.

Hard to imagine it not coming with at least that given the inevitable march forward of technology. But that's likely 2-3 years away.
brill64 Posted January 3, 2010 Share #29 Posted January 3, 2010 at an unreasonable size, i still think you will buy one. that extra stop is a lot in technical terms, of course it's going to be big
brill64 Posted January 3, 2010 Share #30 Posted January 3, 2010 everyone, literally everyone said the m9 would be 2-3 years away and dot dot dot..
novice9 Posted January 4, 2010 Share #31 Posted January 4, 2010 everyone, literally everyone said the m9 would be 2-3 years away and dot dot dot.. and indeed it was, was it not (referring to the interval between the M8 and M9 releases).
