stuny Posted December 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted December 25, 2009 The V-Lux uses the same battery with additional amp-hour rating. They are interchageable.

doubice Posted December 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 25, 2009 Does anybody know if these two cameras use the same battery? Cheers, Purpledot The V-Lux uses the same battery with additional amp-hour rating. They are interchageable. Sorry - they are not interchangeable. The Digilux 2 takes a Panasonic CGR-602A (Leica BP-DC1) battery, the V-Lux 1 (same as the Panasonic DMC-FZ50) takes a Panasonic CGR-006A. The Digilux 2 battery is bigger, with completely different contact locations. I found this site when getting the correct part numbers: http://www.eastcoastphoto.com/nav/bfinder.asp Best, Jan
