hamey Posted December 19, 2009 Share #4 Posted December 19, 2009 As a steam lover, I would have liked a more wider shot then this. However well done. Ken.
Guest suilvenman Posted December 19, 2009 Share #5 Posted December 19, 2009 I appreciate what you mean, Ken. I must admit that I cropped this one tightly to remove all human presence in order to concentrate on the locomotive itself (in fact I was going to crop out the vestige of tree on l/h side but that would have cut into the engine). Many thanks for your time and consideration - much appreciated. Ken.
wda Posted December 21, 2009 Share #6 Posted December 21, 2009 As a steam lover, I would have liked a more wider shot then this. However well done. Ken. I felt the same way; almost cheated of desired information. There are ways of dealing with people, but sometimes they can add to the interest. Guest suilvenman Posted December 21, 2009 Share #8 Posted December 21, 2009 David - thank you for your comment and I realise that human presence can add interest to an image but in this particular case my emphasis was more about the concept of locomotion itself. Again, many thanks for your time and consideration. Stephan - you're correct. This is a "living" version of Thomas - the Cheeky One. Ken.
