palmskov Posted December 5, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 5, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) It's nice to be back after nearly one month offline due to too much work. I was testing the light for a session tomorrow and shot these 2 of my mother. Normally she's not very keen on being photographed but with the quitness of digilux2 I tricked her;) Thanks for looking...

stuny Posted December 5, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 5, 2006 Nikolaj - #1, with the color and the lust for life, is delightful, and I like the lighting and framing very much.
wbesz Posted December 5, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 5, 2006 I see in your second shot a portion capture of your mother's life. From my perspective, well done.

RaySwan Posted December 5, 2006 Share #5 Posted December 5, 2006 I like'em both but if I had to pick it'd be the second. I feel as if I know her from the second shot. We've certainly led similar lives. Nice shot with great technical aspects as well.

palmskov Posted December 6, 2006 Author Share #11 Posted December 6, 2006 Thanks once again for the comments She didn't really liked it in the first place but after I explained your comments and especially RaySwan's she could see my point... It's always very hard I guess for most people to see / judge a serious photo / portrait of themselves. In a snapshot we normally just look happy, drunk or foolish...
