Crees que sería posible instalarlo en una D-3?. gracias

nigelb Posted January 12, 2010 Share #8 Posted January 12, 2010 Here's my 'system' Welcome, dear visitor! As registered member you'd see an image here… Simply register for free here – We are always happy to welcome new members! Leica Grip Leica DL4 viewfinder Pandabase adapter 2x Tele lens 0.45x WA lens Metz 36 AF-4 Flash OLY/PAN Slik Sprint Pro II tripod UV filter POL filter Crumpler Muffin Top 3000 bag The 2x and 0.45x converters were cheap off E-bay and are marked Rowa Optics. Don't expect miracles with these. The The Tele lens isn't bad but the WA lens exhibits distortion and fringing near the edges, both are ok for occasional use which is what I wanted them for - my D-Lux 4 is set to 24mm 90% of the time. The Metz flash is great. Damn, I just realised I've inversted almost £1000 in this system - I could have bought a reasonable SLR for that to replace my ageing Nikon D100 - but then I wouldn't be having so much fun!!! krandall Posted January 24, 2010 Share #9 Posted January 24, 2010 How do you attach these lenses to the D lux 4? I don't see any threading on mine. Thanks~
farnz Posted January 24, 2010 Share #10 Posted January 24, 2010 There is a ring around the front of the lens housing that you need to unscrew and the thread will be revealed underneath it. Pete.
nigelb Posted January 24, 2010 Share #11 Posted January 24, 2010 Don't think there's any mention of the removable ring in the D-Lux 4 manual. Download the LX3 manual from the Panasonic site, it explains all and is incidentally a better manual generally. To fix the lenses and filters you need the adapter tube shown fitted to my camera above. Nigel
LRF Posted January 25, 2010 Share #12 Posted January 25, 2010 As the title says....can you please post image of your DL4 and accessories? I am thinking of getting some accessories, like the bag and possibly a grip and would like to see what combos of bag/DL4 and bag/DL4/grip people have. Thanks P The best accessory I've bought is the book "PHOTOGRAPHER'S GUIDE TO THE LEICA D-LUX 4" by Alexander S. White. I got mine off Amazon. It's really well written and shows up all the countless omissions and mistakes in the official Leica Manual. Very happy that I bought it. 226 pages of good information. Leica should throw away theirs and include this one!
krandall Posted January 26, 2010 Share #13 Posted January 26, 2010 Thanks, all! I ordered White's book from Amazon the other day, but I'll dl the LX3 manual too.
