Thats the same sort of result I'm getting from my LTM 21mm Skopar 2Bebert. I'm using it with a codable M adapter and have it marked as a 21mm Elmarit ASPH.

Blue skies sometimes vignette in the corners but overall its very good.

I guess I can mark the CV lenses with a coding kit- and then leave the auto lens detect on all the time? I have 4 CV lenses now and I noticed the 28mm f2 Ultron came with markings on it already...

My CV15 is coded as a WATE (with the aid of a Milich adapter). With the M9, the lens is always recognized in EXIF as 16mm, so there's no need to do any menu-diving. Leica must fix the red edge problem for their own WATE when set to 16mm, and I presume this fix will be good enough for the CV15. There will probably be an official firmware update during February.

Meanwhile I am using my 18mm Distagon (also WATE-coded) and have found that the red edge is not pronounced enough to be worrisome with most subjects. Distagon? Why do I not use a real Leica lens? Because the Super-Elmar did not exist when I bought the Distagon, and the lens is so damn good that I won't pay twice the price for a red dot. The problem is noticeable with the CV15 however.
