Seeingeye Posted December 30, 2009 Share #41 Posted December 30, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) It was good to meet up again and make the acquaintance of Falstaff, who along with Robert had certainly travelled a distance to be there. Shame that conditions were not that good for photography, but the company more than made up for it. Regards Mike
Advertisement Posted December 30, 2009 Posted December 30, 2009 Hi Seeingeye, Take a look here London New years eve. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
viramati Posted December 30, 2009 Author Share #42 Posted December 30, 2009 Louis I like the shot in the people forum. Didn't really get any decent shots as it's hard to concentrate with back hurting. Anyway after some leg pulling and massage from my lovely wife it is now a bit better. Look forward to next meet with hopefully some better weather.
Falstaff Posted December 31, 2009 Share #43 Posted December 31, 2009 Gentlemen Thanks for making me feel welcome yesterday. Great pity the weather was dreadful, but at least the pub was cosy. Better luck next time. Falstaff
Alan Philpotts Posted December 31, 2009 Share #44 Posted December 31, 2009 Nice to see you all again - and to meet Falstaff. I had a great day out despite the weather. Happy New Year everybody! Alan
andybarton Posted January 1, 2010 Share #45 Posted January 1, 2010 Proof that we were there (or at least Alan and Pete) Is Pete pretending to be Little Jack Horner? HNY.
farnz Posted January 1, 2010 Share #46 Posted January 1, 2010 Is Pete pretending to be Little Jack Horner? It does look a bit like I have a purple plum (oo-er, Missus) on the end of my thumb. But alas, I would soon be dodging thunderbolts if I said "What a good boy am I!" Pete.

biglouis Posted January 1, 2010 Share #49 Posted January 1, 2010 Pete, great set of shots (especially the cheese guy) and thankfully for once my camera is covering my face. I know the church is falling on hard times but selling off Southwark Cathedral for a leisure park and reducing its size to a simple coffee shack is going a bit far... farnz Posted January 1, 2010 Share #50 Posted January 1, 2010 Louis, Thanks for the compliment. This must the cathedral's new Holy Communion dispenser where recipients kneel at the window and the parson doles out the wafers and wine ("D'ya want fries with that?"). Pete.
