PhotoArchival Posted December 1, 2006 Share #1 Posted December 1, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Charles Bridge around 5:30 pm. If Vic is out there, I would like to know what you think of this 1st shot? Too tight? Any other comments are always welcomed, on both of course. Thanks for looking! Advertisement Posted December 1, 2006 Posted December 1, 2006 Hi PhotoArchival, Take a look here Praha 2. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
erl Posted December 1, 2006 Share #2 Posted December 1, 2006 Imiges, Praha is one of my favourite cities, so anything from there is is nostalgic for me. Your first pic, to me, is too busy. There is no real centre of interest. I think you should have made more of the statue and less of the window. But of course, this a matter of taste and you are free to disagree. Your second image, to my eye, has a problem with colour saturation. I assume the pic was during autumn (fall) which is a colourful period usually, but I feel your Red - Green balance is off. I am not convinced that the red rooves are realy that colour and that there is a distinct green cast in the paving stones and other areas. It seems you have altered them in some way. To my eye it is not natural. If you intended that effect then so be it. Whatever, It is a most enjoyable location and I hope you got many images during your time there. I am jealous. I must re-visit. Cheers, Erl
jmr Posted December 1, 2006 Share #3 Posted December 1, 2006 Amado, I like them both! The undersaturation in the second adds to the late-in-the-year feeling.
stuny Posted December 1, 2006 Share #4 Posted December 1, 2006 Amado - Unlike Erl, I prefer having the window framing. However, I would prefer to have the frame not cut off the statue's back.
