novice9 Posted January 7, 2010 Share #124 Posted January 7, 2010 Bad News. Puts just released his review. He essentially trashed the camera. In part 4,657-B(x)(ii) of his review, he establishes using the los-alamos nuclear spectral space scope that the resolution of the camera is at least 1/10,000 of an electron less than the Nikkon D3xsf markii. Leica specs just never hold up under close scrutiny.
victoriapio Posted January 7, 2010 Share #125 Posted January 7, 2010 Forget the M12. With today's announcement from Zeiss on the first Ikondigitronic with full frame sensor, floating rangefinder focus patch, and wireless recording of images directly to your desktop PC at home, and a retail price of $1,999.99, Leica will be out of business next week. Should see the price of obsolete Leicas (M8-M11) come down rapidly. What a horror for Leica
Nicoleica Posted January 7, 2010 Share #126 Posted January 7, 2010 Personally, I think this is due to the use of a load of Barium-Oxide Low-Light Opto-Cryogenic Kinetic Sensors!

farnz Posted January 31, 2010 Share #128 Posted January 31, 2010 <sigh> I was using my M12 in discrete mode and continuous today and got the dreaded shutter fault message after a burst of only 600 shots. The camera wouldn't wake up until I removed and replaced the micro-hadron collider. Will Leica fix this in the next Etherware update?!
