Battery charger that can charge more than one battery at a time for m9 and m8

I am looking for a battery charger that can charge at least four batteries at one time that is compatible with the M9/M8 battery. This would be good for those of us who really work our cameras hard with multiple sd cards and hundreds of shots at a time. Is there anything out there to buy? I hate the idea of having many chargers plugged in when one with multiple slots would be more practical for those of us who shoot alot.

I've searched high and low for the same thing for the same reason. Eventually I obtained a second compact charger (as supplied with my M8.2) and rigged them back-to-back with velcro (so they're always in one place). Between that and the idiotic monstrous kludge of a charger that came with the M8.0 I can reasonably well pre-charge half a dozen batteries the day before a shoot. I've never run through more than four however. That could be because I have review set to OFF and rarely use the LCD (very disturbing to others in theatres, calls attention to myself). At least with the M8 I can see battery condition and remaining shots without turning the confounded LCD on.

Try Digital camera accessories and OEM flash manufacturer - Delkin Devices. They have one that will charge 2 at one time.

Well, if you turn the M9 on with a low battery inserted the display will give you a " battery low" warning, which the M8 will not...

I agree with Morris - the really good news for me is that this can now take plates for the M9 and the 5D mk2 - I only need to carry one charger for the two systems. This has to be good news + it's really inexpensive.

I bought a second Leica charger (and I'll have three once my second M9 comes in).

 

They're quite small and a real improvement over the M8 brick charger. I plan to get shorter power cords to make them even more compact.

 

The advantage to having separate chargers is that if one goes down while traveling, you still have backup. I've had this happen before (though not with Leica chargers).

 

Even if you go with the Delkin double charger, I'd still recommend having a few, at least if you're doing assignments and/or other important work.
