leicamann Posted November 15, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Because of the late Fall and incredibly hot summer, our flowers have been lasting longer than usual, but not only that, there seems to be something special about the colors you find in the Fall, must be the light. This series features the totally undervalued and poopooed R 100mm Marco Elmar,( with the Leicaflex SL) here we are using the bellows and tripod. I think to get even sharper images it would be best to use wire release rather than by hand.Anyhow I think you will agree with me the lens has its own peculiar beauty. Will post these on Zenfolio here is the link..I think you will also agree with me that Zenfolio does a fabulous job...almost seemless Sea Otter Studios Cheers, JRM

vdb Posted November 15, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 15, 2009 Colors, light, sharpness are exquisite. Some of the best flower shots I've seen in a while. Great job.
geaibleu Posted November 15, 2009 Share #3 Posted November 15, 2009 Beautiful images all right which prompted us to look in our garden. We are having the same situation down east, where despite some early and severe frost the present mild temperature seems to have fooled our perennial pansies. As I did not want to get wet I used the Apo-El 180 along with the macro-adapter on 4/3.
