Hank Taylor Posted November 13, 2009 Share #22 Posted November 13, 2009 Just got a call my dealer OC Camera here in Mission Viejo CA, that my M9 is due in before the 20th of this month. I had placed my order a month ago and had put down a 50% deposit. I don't think it really mattered with regards to the deposit through. I like dealing with a store that takes a personal interest in their customers. Now I have to decide if I want to let go of my two M6's. Will trade in one of them and keep the TTL as backup. TimF Posted November 13, 2009 Share #24 Posted November 13, 2009 When I collected my M9 last week my dealer told me that some dealers in the UK have not had any stock either so you're not alone.
Åmund Posted November 13, 2009 Share #25 Posted November 13, 2009 Well I sold my Canon gear to finance the M9 and some lenses. I have the lenses, and not having an M9 is killing me! I really hope I have it before christmas. Which christmas did you have in mind? :D:D Åmund

I like that: "tickling in" Where in LA did you get yours, Bo? When I was in Bel Air Camera a few weeks ago they told me they had almost 30 people in line prepaid and didn't expect to clear their backlog list until early February or March. I just got one, but I got it off eBay and paid a small premium (about $300 over what I would have paid for it new in LA). I figured that was a small price to pay to jump up in line by 3-4 months. Looked at your pictures for the first time , you have a good eye like the composition and subject matter. . Agree, OC camera is right on- Met Ken Rockwell there the other day, not at all what I expected. Nice guy. Hank
