pauledell Posted November 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted November 12, 2009 Pete, Complex patterns contrasted by the bright red machinery make this an appealing picture to me. Paul

I'm wondering if it stands up without the colour; perhaps needs some more work? This was the greyest of grey days- ever!
pauledell Posted November 13, 2009 Share #4 Posted November 13, 2009 Thanks Paul. I'm wondering if it stands up without the colour; perhaps needs some more work? This was the greyest of grey days- ever! Pete, It looks great in b&w but you might increase the contrast some. Paul
vdb Posted November 13, 2009 Share #5 Posted November 13, 2009 The lovely muted colors work best for me.
stuny Posted November 13, 2009 Share #6 Posted November 13, 2009 Pete - Terrific for composition and complexity. I find the bit of color in the almost monochrome color version to make it more appealing than the B&W version. I feel it can benefit from a touch of punching up (shadow and highlight sliders) and sharpening.
