The last IIIf I had serviced was pretty dim, so Youxin Ye replaced the beam splitter with a new multicoated splitter, and it is now the easiest focusing Barnack I have. wlaidlaw Posted August 21, 2016 Share #22  Posted August 21, 2016 I stuck a piece of orange acetate over the RF window on the M8 with Blu-Tak, when I was using it with a 135 Tele-Elmar. The orange contrast of the "ghost" image was very useful for the last bit of accuracy in focusing the 135 on the M8. However if I forgot to take it off and then was trying to focus in low light, I would wonder where the RF image had gone.  Wilson Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
