So Where Does the OKARO or ORAKO Go?

I had a OKARO on a IIIc, and found it easier to focus without it. The last IIIf I had serviced was pretty dim, so Youxin Ye replaced the beam splitter with a new multicoated splitter, and it is now the easiest focusing Barnack I have. The RF spot is very bright and slightly blue toned - quite easy to see a dual image.

I stuck a piece of orange acetate over the RF window on the M8 with Blu-Tak, when I was using it with a 135 Tele-Elmar. The orange contrast of the "ghost" image was very useful for the last bit of accuracy in focusing the 135 on the M8. However if I forgot to take it off and then was trying to focus in low light, I would wonder where the RF image had gone.

Hi. I have just joined and have a question a little bit off topic. Can anyone help me with  the proper technique or a workaround for using the Okaro and focusing on a Leica iiif when using the barn doors shade which seem to obscure the act of focusing. has anyone else found this ?
