leicamann Posted November 8, 2009 Share #1 Posted November 8, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just thought I'd post something cheery, now I am not sure how it will translate on this browser, it looks great here, somehow I can't post large size images and I think what I am going to do is just point to my "zenfolio" webpage which can give you full screen. This was a scan done in RAW and converted in PS4, its tricky..but I think well worth the effort. Cheers, JRM OK not bad, not bad..colors are good but still some loss of detail..what do you expect..nothing compared to the original 16 bit image ;(

leicamann Posted November 10, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted November 10, 2009 Thanks folks for your kind replies..I think in future there will be more images scanned using RAW.... just so you know if you have VueScan Pro..you can do this. Also if you are using Windows 7, don't worry, in Virtual XP mode you can use your old scanner drivers. Cheers, JRM

I know; it's just the same for the rest of us. At least your image has not suffered from the mysterious loss of sharp focus which seems to occur from time to time with this web software. Cheers,JRM It can be quite frustrating trying to guess how an image will appear on the forum and then adjusting it to make it look its best. Often is is B&W images which are worst affected.
