Advertisement Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Hi Mauribix, Take a look here M9 available at my local shop, interested?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
AnakChan Posted October 26, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 26, 2009 But what are the specs? Presumably black 0.72 and the price?
Mauribix Posted October 26, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted October 26, 2009 That's black, 0.72 I guess it's the only available, isn't it? The price is the official Euro price list, 5490,00euros including VAT if I'm not wrong. I bought mine at the same shop few weeks ago.
AnakChan Posted October 27, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 27, 2009 That's including VAT!? What's the name of the shop again? Do they ship overseas (like Japan?)? Are they reliable? What's their number? HIGHLY tempting!

Mauribix Posted October 27, 2009 Author Share #11 Posted October 27, 2009 Hi guys, so the news is this: the camera is still available for sale, the reseller is Grande Marvin (I don't have any business with them, simply they're my preferred reseller). They told me that shipping outside Europe is a problem because of shipping risks, and customs problems. Anyway you can find their contacts in the store locator at the Leica Website here: Leica Camera AG - Ricerca rivenditori Grande Marvin Michele Caputi Via Lagrange 45 10123 Torino Telefono: +39 011-5616411 caputi.michele(at)libero.it Mr. Michele Caputi is the man to contact. Hope to satisfy someone!

jamriman Posted October 27, 2009 Share #16 Posted October 27, 2009 Leicashop have an estimated 3 months delivery time. What do I know. That is a fine dealer though. It also seems to be a few hundred less in US dollars. I wonder if the M9 sold by now.
GMB Posted October 27, 2009 Share #17 Posted October 27, 2009 What do I know. That is a fine dealer though. It also seems to be a few hundred less in US dollars. I wonder if the M9 sold by now. His price is the same as elsewhere in Europe as he was quoting a price without VAT. If you purchase from outside Europe, any dealer will sell without VAT. So nothing special about this offer. AnakChan Posted October 27, 2009 Share #19 Posted October 27, 2009 It's still on the shelf. I'd love to go for it (now even!) but as you've said, they don't like taking orders outside of EU.
Steve Fines Posted October 27, 2009 Share #20 Posted October 27, 2009 It's still on the shelf. I tried to contact them today, but didn't receive a response. My guess is that the shipping to the US and customs were the issue, as the camera will almost certainly sell locally without much delay.
