Advertisement Posted October 21, 2009 Posted October 21, 2009 Hi rob_x2004, Take a look here 13500. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest suilvenman Posted October 21, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 21, 2009 The gentleman's expression is wonderfully photographed. A beautiful moment, Rob. Ken.
PhotoArchival Posted October 21, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2009 Agree with Ken. Like his reaching, too. Nice vantage point, Rob, and using that OoF shrub of flowers to conveniently frame him w/o distracting, the b&w also plays in to that. Not too shabby with the details in the smooth tones. Least it looks that way on my monitor.... Love the fact that I don't miss the 'hard' contrast. Amado p.s. what causes the transparency of the two flowers in the foreground by his head? A slight wind? lanetomlane Posted October 21, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 21, 2009 Lovely portrait which in my humble opinion deserves a better title than '13500'. _________________ Regards, Tom Photography by Tom Lane
rob_x2004 Posted October 21, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted October 21, 2009 Burning in, in a triangular transparency above the gutter line. Put your thumb over the flowers above the gutter and you will see the flowers below the line are solid but moving and simply out of focus, not transparent. I thought it was amusing so I left it to see if anyone would notice:D.
