Michael Hiles Posted October 21, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 21, 2009 This is very nice indeed. Beautiful long tone, lovely composition, makes me think of France. Mount the print, sign it and put it on a easily seen wall.
pauledell Posted October 21, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2009 Johannes, I believe I like this the best of your series. Perfect in every way in my opinion. I, too, believe this is worthy to be framed and hung on a prominent wall. A true classic. Paul

JoRa Posted October 21, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted October 21, 2009 Hello! I am glad to read your answers and comments. Well, I like this photo, too, and it will be framend and hang on a wall. The picture reminds me of a wonderful autumn-morning, all by myself, only me and the MP. Two hours later I was back home and had breakfast with my wife before I impatiently developed the film (a Kodak TMY). Well, it might be in France, but the photo shows the Hellbrunner Allee (in English: Alley), which leads from the town of Salzburg (Austria) to the Schloss Hellbrunn (Castle of Hellbrunn). This alley was laid out in the 17th century by archbishop Markus Sittikus von Hohenems as a prestigious accommodation way to the castle itself and the surrounding big gardens. Nowadays it is used as a recreation area, and one will find a lot of walker, runners, poeple with their dogs, etc.. So you have to get up early to catch the alley empty, autumn-like foggy, but the light bright enough for a photo without a tripod. I think I was there three or four times and left again without a picture done, but in the morning I took this photo everything seemed to match.
