John.of.Gaunt Posted October 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Has somebody ever visited Luigi the case maker personally? Does he has a shop where I could go an buy one of his cases? Does he has a factory or something similar or is it just a man stitching in a garage? Or is he currently totally sold out... I wrote him an email 4 weeks ago, nothing happend... And I will be in Rome during the next week. Gruß J
Advertisement Posted October 14, 2009 Posted October 14, 2009 Hi John.of.Gaunt, Take a look here Visite Case maker Luigi. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
RobertW Posted October 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 14, 2009 If Luigi hasn't answered you, perhaps he's not in Roma at the time. When you do get in touch with him he's super friendly and will invite you to his store if you're in the neighborhood. For your other questions on whether he has exactly what you're looking for, I dunno. I had been intending on paying him a visit this summer past, but unfortunately, had to cancel. johnastovall Posted October 15, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2009 I go an auto reply from Luigi this morning about case for an X1. He is very busy running the Leather shop and doesn't have time for the PC.
bradhusick Posted October 15, 2009 Share #4 Posted October 15, 2009 I visited Luigi at his home in northwest Rome in August. He doesn't have a shop that I know of, but he was gracious in inviting me to his home. Go ahead and place your order through email and he will get it and reply as soon as he can. I own many of his cases and they are masterpieces.
georgio Posted October 15, 2009 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2009 You may try to contact him again from another email address. Some mails do end up in his SPAM filter. GEO
Guest mc_k Posted October 18, 2009 Share #6 Posted October 18, 2009 I would also be interested if he has a shop; I'm sure I've seen a picture of a shop.
k_g_wolf ✝ Posted October 18, 2009 Share #7 Posted October 18, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) There WAS a shop address to be found on his website. But perhaps it is closed now. He might be too busy producing all these M9- halfcases and bottomplates .. Best
