Date lookup puts this at 1961. Mine has a tiny '13' engraved next to the feet/M marking. I gather this means the lens is actually 51.3 mm. Closest engraved distance is 1m / 3'4"; the actual barrel turns a few degrees beyond this. I've had my Summilux for just four days. Looks like, but, indeed, is ANOTHER lens (see post # 9 above) : identical as shape - dimensions, different lens design (type 2) : my one is very next to yours (1.884.xxx, also with "13") and i had it for some more than four days... (24 years...): a wonderful classic lens, better than the 1st version which, by itself, is more appealing as a collectible, expecially in screw mount.
