Another noelthic location in Germany is called Pömmelte (near by Magdeburg pics see this link).
It seams that this region has a long time historical importance as the "Nebra Skydisc" (Himmelsscheibe von Nebra ) has been found there too.
I went to the museum (Halle/Saale) where the original Skydisc is shown, see the last pic.
