We've had a period of unsettled weather recently, from storm-force winds, hail and torrential rain to flat calm with clear blue sky and back to gales again within hours. What this brings is why these Islands are so popular with landscape photographers, The light, cloud formations and sea conditions are often dramatic, especially at this time of year.
Yesterday evening at Traigh Rosamol (aka, wrongly, 'Luskentyre'), Isle of Harris, after a sunny day with a fresh SE breeze to hold up those wave faces on the incoming tide that were generated far out to sea.
