pauledell Posted September 23, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 23, 2009 Wilfrdo, Interesting patterns of light falling on the boards and the muted colors of the graffiti. Paul

thompsonkirk Posted September 24, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 24, 2009 The second one is dazzling. I wonder if the Tagger ever comes out by daylight to see his work this way? Kirk
wilfredo Posted September 24, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted September 24, 2009 Thank you Robert, Paul and Kirk. I wonder what the tagger might think if he saw these? There are more shots but I haven't had time to post them.
vdb Posted September 24, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 24, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) #2 is striking. Well done.
Martin T-M Posted September 24, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 24, 2009 Wilfredo, excellent, especially #2!
wilfredo Posted September 24, 2009 Author Share #9 Posted September 24, 2009 Virgil and Martin, thanks. One thing I like about the first shot (although not as dramatic as the second shot) are the mossy colors on the beams, and the one shoe string that looks like another ray of light :-). Here's a shot of the Cayucas pier just before it went totally dark: http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/landscape-travel/99888-cayucas.html I wish I had more time to play with more photos but I have to get back to work. guipani Posted September 24, 2009 Share #10 Posted September 24, 2009 Number one is my favorite. Fantastic colours. And the shoe string is almost hidden in the picture. Guido
allamande Posted September 25, 2009 Share #11 Posted September 25, 2009 They are both great, but the second is outstanding for combining many disparate elements into a terrifically cohesive and pleasing composition. Ece
wilfredo Posted September 25, 2009 Author Share #12 Posted September 25, 2009 Thank you Guido and Ece. It's always great when you stumble on something unexpected.
roguewave Posted September 25, 2009 Share #13 Posted September 25, 2009 Wilfredo, both are striking. I'd try a B&W conversion as well.
wilfredo Posted September 25, 2009 Author Share #14 Posted September 25, 2009 Wilfredo, both are striking. I'd try a B&W conversion as well. Thanks Ben. I've done that, B&W also works here, but in the end I opted for the subdued colors. BTW, these were done with the 90mm Elmarit R.
