pauledell Posted November 13, 2014 Share #7 Posted November 13, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Henry, I like both shots equally well. The colors from the Portra are exquisite and the bokeh of the second makes the rose so delicate. Paul

Doc Henry Posted November 14, 2014 Author Share #11 Posted November 14, 2014 All are really lovely shots, but the first one is as pretty a shot of a flower as I have ever seen! Thank you Dee for leaving a comment much appreciated It's difficult to describe pictures taken with a film that I do not find with digital photos .There is a "subtlety" in the film undoubtedly ! The colors are also slightly different. Kodak Portra film reminds a lot M8 and M9 for me, although the color is slightly different. But the dosage of color is the same. It's like the vinyl record (in classical music) compared to CD not this aggressive sound in the treble and the lack of depth and relief . All if you listen with tube amplifiers ! Something that will "fit in the guts" , emotion is lacking in the CD. Same in photo Best Henry
