If you look at who the seller is: Skate Urban Rock Shop: 'We sell a wide range of products from Tshirts by Iron Fist, Famous Stars & Straps, Jeans by Criminal Damage and Bolt, Iron Fist Ladies shoes, and Trainers like Vans Classics DC Shoes and Osiris.' and then scroll past all the T-Shirts and sneakers, you get to page after page of mostly pro photo and video equipment (D3, D3x, 1D, 1DS Bodies, Canon, Fujinon HD lenses, etc., but also some point and shoots and filters.......every single item offered for the same $2,150 and all with the same time left, so all entered at the same time. Probably cut and pasted from another site.

Mulling through the alternatives, I'd place my bet on this being the parting shot of a disgruntled employee or angry spouse!

DO NOT BID. That is a hijacked account (and not a disgruntled employee or angry spouse). The thief has set up multiple fake auctions, all with the same price. Notice how the thief slips his email into the auction via a linked picture file and insists on contact via this email rather than via the normal eBay process. Ebay will terminate all of his auctions as soon as someone reports them. In the past week, I've seen several accounts hijacked in the same way (linked picture file with email, all items same price), with dozens of expensive items allegedly for sale. eBay has shut them all down. Many of these auctions from hijacked accounts have appeared right HERE on the l-camera-forum when I've clicked "New Posts".:mad:

LOL.

However they are saying they have more than ten 50mm F1.0 lenses for sale. But the feedback is 98.4% and all the negative Feedback is from selling items that were not in stock. The spouse have been angry for a long time. :D

The link in the original post still appears as an active auction? I get "This listing (290494700482) has been removed, or this item is not available."

By the way, that seller has more than 11,000 expensive cameras and lenses for sale, all for the exact same price.

eBay has terminated about 10,000 of the hijacking seller's fraudulent auctions today. This morning the fraudulent seller had over 11,000 active auctions, about 10,000 of which where priced at exactly $2,150, all "Buy It Now". Right now he/she has only 1,200 auctions, of which about 250 are cameras & lenses. I expect that those too will be terminated, as the real seller sells t-shirts, shoes, etc., not high-end photo gear.

Edited to add: OK, now down from over 10,000 cameras & lenses to just one camera, a 1D Mark IV! I expect this one to be terminated too. They are apparently leaving the account open, as the t-shirts & shoes are legitimate auctions. I hope no buyers got tricked by this fraudster.
