Advertisement Posted October 29, 2009 Posted October 29, 2009 Hi rosuna, Take a look here M lenses on the M9 camera. A review.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
swamiji Posted October 29, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 29, 2009 I wonder why they did not compare it to an equivalent lens? The sigma is closer to summarit than summicron.
lct Posted October 29, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 29, 2009 I wonder why they did not compare it to an equivalent lens?... So do i. They could have chosen a Zeiss 50/2 or 50/1.4, a Sigma 50/1.4 or, better still, a Summicron-R 50/2. Failing which this comparo looks biased even if the intent is fair. rosuna Posted October 29, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted October 29, 2009 Anyway, the comparison is only a base for an argument: the AA-filter free M9 provides more contrast. The review has several parts, and it is interesting, direct to the point and accurate.

A comparison of better matched lenses, would improve there argument... but you are correct it is direct to the point and well documented.
