mmk60 Posted August 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Looks like my previous post was removed due to the crash... Thanks for looking! PS: the photo looks fuzzy here for some reason as usual. Dunno why.. It looks much sharper elsewhere. Oh well..
Advertisement Posted August 25, 2009 Posted August 25, 2009 Hi mmk60, Take a look here barn. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
stuny Posted August 25, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 25, 2009 I'm glad you reposted this unusual and lovely shot. I really like the effect (M8 without the IR cut filter, if I recall), composition and depth.
pauledell Posted August 25, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 25, 2009 A unique shot. Looks great with fine composition and unusal colors. Paul
elansprint72 Posted August 25, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 25, 2009 I have commented elsewhere about the fuzzy/blurred issue; personally I cannot see any reason for IR style images, this looks like a really good "normal" B&W photo, would you mind posting version? Nice address, btw.
mmk60 Posted August 26, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted August 26, 2009 Thank you folks for your comment. Much appreciated. @elansprint72 - I do not really understand what you are saying.. Did you want to see its BW version? Some people asked in my original post what filter I used and how I made this image. B+W 092 filter ISO160, F5.6, SS 1/30s The layers look like this. bw (opacity less than 10%) High pass filter Hue / Saturation Contrast Curve Level Channel Mixer (Red and Blue swap) I do not do heavy edit like this often but I enjoy experimenting something different once in a while.. pauledell Posted August 26, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 26, 2009 This is even better than the first post. Paul
storybrown Posted August 26, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 26, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I like them both - very beautiful. (And the first is plenty sharp enough, I think.)
mmk60 Posted August 27, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted August 27, 2009 (edited) Thanks everyone. Much appreciated. I am still puzzled with the image quality on here.... Perhaps, the site reduces the file size?? mashu Edited August 27, 2009 by mmk60
vdb Posted August 30, 2009 Share #9 Posted August 30, 2009 Both are excellent but B&W for me:)
