andybarton Posted September 9, 2007 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) There is something almost surreal about this refurbed lens. Not quite enough to warrant keeping it, but it has given some interesting results... http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/film-forum/33434-summaron-service-im-not-happy-bunny.html#post350557

elansprint72 Posted September 9, 2007 Share #2 Posted September 9, 2007 Too much Sneck Lifter? Does the lens rattle when you shake it? How could they return it in that condition.
ctb Posted September 9, 2007 Share #3 Posted September 9, 2007 Well Andy, not sure if it's your lens, the Laphriog I just drank, or I need a trip to specsavers.
ptruman Posted September 9, 2007 Share #4 Posted September 9, 2007 What a beautifully composed view. I just love the lead in lines and the way you have broken the rule of thirds. Clearly the lighting at that moment was a little harsh, but the lens performance has managed to hold the overall contrast to reasonable levels. Just a little fringing around the larger artifacts in the image, either that or your noise levels are out of control in C1 or LR or... I can also see Ben Nevis in the very distance.... :-)
