StephenPatterson Posted December 4, 2011 Share #1  Posted December 4, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) Here are some of my first shots with this new lens, taken today at the Nelson Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City (because the weather was sh!t outside). All shots with M9-P and 21/3.4 Super Elmar M. I've tried to present a selection of color and B&W shots with a minimal amount of cropping and pp in order to showcase this amazing little lens.  Enjoy, and as always comments and critique are welcome.  Stephen

danedit28 Posted December 4, 2011 Share #2 Â Posted December 4, 2011 Excellent! I especially like the courtyard scene. Thank you for sharing and I can't wait to get one of these! I just ordered the Voigtlander 21mm because I'm impatient but I'll definitely trade up when they become more available. Â -dan

MarkP Posted December 4, 2011 Share #4 Â Posted December 4, 2011 I like #2, and especially #7. Â If I may, I think #7 may work better in B&W. The arrangement of shapes is very interesting and I like your framing of the couple within the sculpture. Â Mark

When I was going through these shots I did a B&W conversion on #7, but I wondered if too much information was being lost without having the paintings in color. Also, my main purpose with this thread was to give some examples of the new Leica 21mm lens, and I was afraid that too many of my photos were in B&W!!!  Here is #7, B&W conversion in Silver Efex Pro 2.  Stephen
pauledell Posted December 5, 2011 Share #6 Â Posted December 5, 2011 Stephan, Â A fine series with great shots but No.7 (in b&w) is special with the framing of all the elements within the figure with wheels in the foreground. Â Paul
